Tom, N4HAI, was originally licensed in 1980 as KA4OTI. He upgraded to Extra in 1986 and can be found ragchewing or in contests on HF CW. Look for Tom during the CWOps Wednesday mini contests as member #1099. He also experiments with SDR, Mesh networking, Fusion, Linux, Raspberry Pi, kit building, and maintaining his shack and simple dipole and end fed half wave antennas. Tom has enjoyed CRES activities like Field Day for many years and enjoys showing new hams how to make and log contacts during the contest. During the week, Tom is an IT professional that designs cloud based systems.

Bob was first Licensed in 1955 as WN3CRZ. He has been a member of the CRES club for many years and helped put together the W8ZPF repeater site at the Broad street location. Bob is the club’s contest coordinator and has been the club treasurer since 2009. His ARRL Awards include DXCC Digital, Triple Play and the Centennial Challenge. Bob enjoys RTTY and other digital contests and Coordinates the club’s FIELD DAY Activities. He Retired a MSGT in the Ohio ARMY NATIONAL GUARD and from Bell Telephone Laboratories after 37.5 years.

George Foy
N4DLR
Licensed in the early 1980s, our current President has had many accomplishments in ham radio. George was active in the the 4th-area incoming QSL bureau in the 1980s. He served as president of SPARC, the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club in Sterling VA, a sponsor of the Virginia QSO Party. His ARRL awards include WAS (Triple play) and the W1AW Centennial WAS. One of George’s favorite moments in the hobby was operating W1AW in Newington during the 2014 Centennial. George has been active as the LJ coordinator in the CQ-WE contest for years and served several years on the contest’s oversight committee. He enjoys working QSO Parties and special event stations.
